Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect through the site urquiolasys.com, for what purpose we process it and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Identity and address of the controller
This website (urquiolasys.com), the cloud platform SGApp and the associated technical training programmes are operated by Urquiola Sistemas y Soluciones S.R.L. (trade name urquiola.sys), a company duly incorporated with registered address at Av. Circunvalación N° 246, La Paz, Bolivia.
Official contact and support email: info@urquiolasys.com · phone +591 69909809.
2. What data we collect
- Data you provide: name, email address, company or laboratory, the interest stated and the content of your message, when you use the contact form or write to us on WhatsApp or by email.
- Technical browsing data: basic, aggregated data about the use of the site (for example, pages visited and type of device), when audience measurement tools are enabled.
We do not collect sensitive data and we do not ask for information that is not necessary to answer your enquiry.
3. What we use the data for
- Answering your enquiries and requests for information or a demonstration.
- Managing the commercial relationship, the provision of services and support.
- Sending you information about services, courses or news, when you have authorised it.
- Complying with applicable legal and accounting obligations.
4. Legal basis for processing
Processing is based on your consent, given when you submit the form, and on the legitimate interest of handling commercial enquiries and keeping the site secure.
5. How long we keep the data
We keep contact data while there is a commercial relationship or a mutual interest, and for the periods required by applicable regulations. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
6. With whom it is shared
We do not sell or transfer your personal data. We may use technology providers acting on our behalf (for example, web hosting, email, analytics or payment processors) which only process the data in order to provide those services. Where applicable, these providers may be located in a country other than the registered address of the company.
To charge subscriptions and training programmes we use authorised payment processors acting as merchant of record. In those cases, the data of your payment method is processed directly by that processor; we do not store card numbers.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction, updating or deletion of your data, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@urquiolasys.com. We will handle your request within a reasonable period.
8. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect the information: encrypted connection (HTTPS), access control to the systems, backups and internal confidentiality protocols.
9. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies
The site does not use its own advertising tracking cookies. The light or dark mode preference you choose is stored only in your own browser, not on our servers.
We do use an audience measurement tool (Google Analytics) to know how many people visit the site, from which country and which pages they consult. This tool may install cookies and process usage data in aggregate form.
Analytics is not enabled until you expressly accept it in the notice shown on entry, and you can refuse it: the site works just the same. We do not send Google any data that could identify you; specifically, the page address recorded is built without the parameters the URL may carry, so that no name, email or identifier leaves this site.
10. Links to third-party sites
The resources section includes links to sites of public and international bodies. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those sites.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect regulatory changes or changes to our services. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
